A Little About Michael & Kelsey
I had the pleasure of seeing Michael & Kelsey at the very beginning of their dating journey while at Michael’s sister’s wedding, and remember snapping a shot of Michael in his reception garb of inflatable T-rex dancing with Kelsey. I was so excited for them when I got an email a number of months later to talk about wedding photography for them!! I’ve had the JOY of photographing two of Michael’s siblings weddings previously, and I’ve loved being a part of all of their wonderful journeys!
These two had mutual acquaintances in their church circles, and there was a laser tag event in which Michael proved very helpful in getting Kelsey geared up to play. On their first coffee date, Kelsey walked in feeling like maybe she should let this guy down sooner vs later, and walked out feeling like he really wanted to get to know her for her…and she was okay with that! 😉
A Little About Their Wedding Day
In the midst of all that 2020 has brought to the world, these two were resolute in making their wedding day happen even if society was going to be a little harder to navigate with number caps, masks, etc… Way to go you two!! Their original venue, and then the 2nd venue they looked at both ended up falling through due to restrictions, and when they found Apache Ranch in Silverthorne, they knew it was the spot! A privately owned little ranch that occasionally hosts events, it was the perfect spot for a small and intimate ceremony. They had perfect weather, and so much joy together as they became one. I will always remember the smiles and the happy tears from their first look, which you’ll see images from below.
Michael & Kelsey, I pray every good thing for you, and am SO glad I got to be a part of your marvelous wedding day!!!!
