Andy and Barbie are the type of people that as soon as you meet them you’ll immediate wish them every blessing in life possible. These two are hard working, fun, and one of the traits that sticks out to me is, loyal. I have no doubts that they are and will be truly life partners. Oh, and did I mention that Barbie is one of those people that everything she touches turns beautiful? I have a couple friends like this, and all I can every think is: PLEASE COME DECORATE MY LIFE! Truly though, when I walked in the the reception room that they had carefully prepared I was in awe-not in surprise, I knew it would be beautiful-but just in awe of wonderfully it had all come together.
Barbie & Andy found me through another photographer in my network. Autumn and I had never met, but she passed my info along and then we got to meet on the wedding day! Photographer to photographer, there’s never a greater compliment than having your name passed along. When I met with Barbie and Andy in person, the immediately struck me as a couple that are so easy to love, and they are. And then, we had an engagement session in Rocky Mountain National Park with a guitar and couch. Cloud 9? yep! Two of my favorite parts of their wedding day were first, watching Andy complete the breaking the glass tradition. He is Jewish, and his face as he shattered that glass was price. less! Secondly, the mountain wildflowers were blooming the week of their wedding, and created a perfect backdrop for portraits.
I got a card in the mail from these two a few weeks after their wedding, and their thoughtfulness totally touched my heart. Every step of the way, I’ve been honored to be a part of their wedding story. Congrats you two!!
