For anyone that doesn’t know, I really love animals. Give me a bride who does as well and I get really, really excited!! Jonah & Amber had an incredibly fun and wonderfully beautiful wedding at the Wedgwood Tapestry house in LaPorte, Colorado and it’s one for the books! These two found me through a referral from one of their bridesmaids, Amy, who had attended a wedding that I shot on New Years Eve at the Manor house. We met up for coffee, and just hearing about their plans for the day made me excited! There was a beautiful attention to detail and thoughtfulness in all the different pieces. They even painted what I bet felt like millions of small animals gold for their table placards. As animal lovers, they had considered having a donkey present at the wedding. While that plan wasn’t meant to be, one of Ambers students (she’s a teacher), brought her a wedding gift of a little stuffed party donkey. Amber actually remembered, in all the craziness that happens in a wedding day, to bring the donkey so we could get a photo for her student. #thoughtful!!
Both Jonah & Amber are musicians and teachers. Throughout the day you could see the love of music-from the sting orchestra that played at the ceremony to one of Jonah’s band members and groomsmen who sang and played their first dance song. These two picked their wedding venue specifically because it had a garden feel, and Best Day Floral did an amazing job of taking things to a whole new level with the multicolored florals. This soft summer night was breathtaking. Jonah & Amber, I loved getting to be a part of your story…CONGRATS!!
