A Little About Calvin & Shannon, and Their Wedding
Calvin & Shannon are seriously some of the kindest people and most FUN people. When we first sat down to Coffee last year, we talked the night away because we just plain connected so well! These two have a very fun love story that I wrote more about here. I will tell you now they are serious gamers (when we did our final video call consult pre-wedding Shannon was rocking the epic headphones and microphone!) and also animal lovers-in particular Bunnies. Recipes for fun, you bet!
When my awesome 2nd for their day, Rhema, and I were driving home one of the things that we loved was how much these two made they day their own. Personal touches galore, and making choices that reflected them was absolutely the order of the day and I LOVE that! The music set list was completely unique and so, so fun. Calvin’s 1st dance with his mom transitioned into a dance with his dad that had everyone roaring. Calvin has this wonderful sense of humor all while holding a poker face. The chorus of that song was “He got it from his Daddy” and boy, that is so true for him! Shannon’s bubbly nature is so caring of those around her, and I see her as someone that has a gift of nurturing the hearts of other people. She worked incredibly hard on the details of the day, including making her own bouquet and corsages for everyone. The pennies she had in her navy Toms she had personally paint splattered.
Calvin & Shannon, you two are absolutely a delight, and I’m so glad I’ve gotten to be a part of your lives through your wedding. 100 million Congrats to you!!!
