A Little About Zach & Kelly
Seeing how a couple fits together is one awesome aspect of being a wedding photographer. Zach & Kelly fit together SO well. I can see how they connect, and also the ways that they are different and how they use that to be stronger together. Two are indeed better than one, and that is the BEST part about marriage. You can read more about their love story here on their engagement session blog, but I will give you a quick preview by saying that Kelly almost left for the peace corps a few months before they met…but had this feeling that she needed to stay in Ft. Collins. When she and Zach met, it all made sense. One of the things that sticks out to me about Kelly is that she is so beautiful in and out. She has the most amazing hair, looked like royalty on the big day, and planned the day to be centered around the people they love instead of things. Zach is right there with her in having a huge heart, and planned the perfect engagement for them which included Dexter, their fur baby. That shows he’s a keeper!
A Little About Their Day
Colorado had a LATE fall this year, which made Zach & Kelly’s October wedding in Rocky Mountain National Park perfectly time with the peak of the aspens! The rented the amphitheater in RMNP, and then had their reception at Illegal pete’s in Old Town Ft. Collins, the are they met. My top highlights of the day were the first look-Zach’s face when he saw her…oh my!!! Kelly had an awesome Tree Hut watch hidden behind her bouquet to surprise him with, it was fantastic! Secondly…their first dance. They chose to do their first dance in old town square under all the Bistro lights, and danced to the same music that Captain America dances with Peggy in Avenger’s Endgame. Zach & Kelly share a love of Cap, and this was the perfect top off to their day…dancing under the lights in the city center they met in. Excuse me while I go grab tissue!!
Zach & Kelly, I can’t tell you glad I am that I got to be with you on such an important day in your lives. I wish you the BEST as Mr. & Mrs. Cochran!!!
