A Little About Ryan & Colleen
Ryan & Colleen are pretty much the most thoughtful people you will ever meet. Truly, you can tell that not only from meeting them, but also listening to other people talk about them. They also have a beautiful love story. The originally met at the Grizzly Rose in Denver, and dated for a time. They broke up with no intention of re-striking that match. Well, fast forward and Ryan had been sitting in his car one evening praying about Colleen. They hadn’t seen each other for 2 years. He went into kingsoopers, turned the aisle in the produce and bumped straight into her! Then, again, they ran into one another the following week at the gym. A couple of weeks later, Colleen was driving in her car and praying about Ryan…and as soon as she finished he texted, asking if they could connect. Isn’t that an amazing story!! Their story came to a new culmination when they said “I do” on a PERFECT September day at the flying horse ranch.
A Little About Their Day
Ryan & Colleen had a love bird themed wedding, and had beautiful accents everywhere to remind of this theme. The center pieces were all unique wooden bird houses surrounded with fragrant eucalyptus, and the guestbook was a gorgeous wooden art tree with a pair of birds. While their day was beautiful to the senses, it was also to the heart. The people that were present were so warm, caring, and there to absolutely celebrate with these two! Ryan & Colleen took the time to care for one another on the day as well. I have a slight idea that we may share a favorite part of the day. During their first look, they chose to read their vows to one another and wash each other’s feet as a symbol of serving one another for the rest of their lives. They cried. I cried. It was so special.
Ryan & Colleen, I am SO glad that I got to be the one to be with you on your big day…thank you for having me!!! Congrats!!!
