Haystack Hearth: Frank & Jami’s Beautiful Stormy Skies Destination Wedding in Boulder, CO

A Little About Frank & Jami

Frank and Jami came to me through the referral of my favorite DJ, Micheal Lancaster of Bagpipers International. As soon as we got onto FaceTime to connect and chat, I knew that they were going to be a BLAST, and they truly are. These two had a chance meeting in Vegas when Frank was there for a bachelor party. Well, the sparks flew, and they stayed connected. During the speeches, I learned that they would even FaceTime to watch movies together when they were long distance. Frank eventually relocated to Vegas, where Jami manages a yoga studio, which is her passion. Their proposal story is one that take the cake. These two are not actually desert lovers, though they love the outdoors. The ocean has an extra pull, and while vacationing in Hawaii Frank booked a private sunset beach yoga session. At the end, when everything was perfect, he popped the question. Needless to say…she said YES!

A Little About Their Special Day

These two decided to bring their closest friends and family, and make their wedding a full on special trip to Colorado for a destination wedding. As a Colorado photographer, I think there’s no better place of course! They chose Haystack Hearth, a newer venue just outside of Boulder, CO. This little gem is tucked away and full of greenery and flowers. The forecasted rain only made a short appearance, however it gave us the incredible skies that you’ll see in the evening instead of a traditional golden hour. Beautiful is definitely the right word to describe the night! Frank & Jami, I’m so glad I got to be with you on such an important day in your lives!! Congrats!!
