Nick & Rebecca’s Boulder Wedding: The epic views of the Flatirons at Chataqua Park show off in the snow for this Special Couple.

Nick & Rebecca’s Story

Nick and Rebecca met online…and in a way that immediately made me laugh! After an initial exchange of messages, Nick went silent…on accident! He had been traveling quite a bit with work and a response never got sent. So two weeks later, Rebecca got a note back after having moved on mentally. Well, needless to say they DID meet up, and after that first cup of Joe together, these coffee lovers quickly became an item.

Their Boulder Wedding

Nick & Rebecca are very people centered, and it’s one of the most beautiful parts about who they are. They wanted their day to be a party for the people from many different facets of their lives to come together and celebrate with them. It was just that! They had 250 guests, and even international representation. Rebecca lived in the Boulder area and they chose to get married in the Church there that had a great deal of meaning and community to them, Cornerstone Boulder. Rebecca’s pastor from Washington DC flew out to officiate the ceremony. He did a great job incorporating Nick’s fun side job, operating a mobile escape room, into the ceremony. All in all, the variety of relationships present and engaged in their big day was special to see.

If you’re going to get married in Boulder…you need to have photos taken in front of the Flatirons at Chautauqua park. Can I get an AMEN?! Colorado Winter Weddings always have the potential of a variety of weather, which makes photographing Colorado winter weddings always an adventure! God gave them a beautiful gift of snow, and the pretty type to boot instead of a driving sleet! While it was chilly, the snow added so much dimension to the landscape on their day.

Nick & Rebecca, it was SUCH a joy to be a part of such an important day in your lives… Thank you for choosing me!!!
