How They Met.
Ryan & Kimberly are one of the sweetest couples you’ll ever meet! This Colorado native girl and this Michigan native guy met online and from the get go it was an immediate click. I have the best job as a Colorado wedding photographer, and let me tell you that my couples that meet online have told me over an over that something just clicked right away at that first date. Ryan & Kimberly were the same. These two knew the road they were heading down long before Ryan popped the question.
How He Proposed!!
Ryan knew he’d need to work to keep the actual proposal a secret as he had just relocated to Chicago for work, and his visits to Colorado would be the only opportunity to ask Kimberly to marry him. He took her up to Vail for her birthday, and at a fancy restaurant over dinner handed her a small, carefully wrapped box. That contained a watch. That broke the expectation, so later that night when they were having wine in front of a fire and he DID pop the big question, it was un-expected and a surprise.
Their Awesome Session!
Kimberly and I have known each other since we were girls. I don’t actually remember meeting one another, just that we’ve always known each other! I was SO excited when she contacted me I was over the moon to both re-connect after a number of years, and talk wedding photography. They chose Golden’t Clear Creek History Park for their engagement session as it would give them a Colorado feel and allow us time to pop over to Confluence Park for some Mile High City skyline engagement shots. Ryan is still in Chicago, and Kimberly will join him post wedding…so having Denver in the background was important to him. Ryan & Kimberly, I cannot tell you what a joy an honor it is to be your wedding photographer. I am celebrating you already, and will always be cheering your marriage on!!
