When I first sat down with Joe & Cristina, I knew right away that they were going to be a lot of fun. These two are feisty, engaging, and straightforward. I LOVE THAT. The more we talked about their day, the priorities were so clear. This day was to be about relationships and real life. Boom. I’m sold! And that is exactly what the day way about. The way that these two look at each other says it all. I’m pretty positive that no one else gets Joe’s smile for Cristina, and no one else gets Cristina’s smile that she has for Joe. It’s like a light goes on inside only when they are looking at each other, and shines in their faces.
A Colorado New Years Eve Wedding at the Manor House is always a treat, because it will be simply breath taking no matter what. The Manor is always decorated impeccably, and the design of the venue makes for incredible photography pretty much everywhere. I do love me some Manor house shooting, it’s the visual wedding photographer in me! Cristina worked incredibly hard to put the perfect touches on the details of their day, and I found her handiwork in many places, alongside that of her dear aunt, Lourdes. Cristina’s dress even had that care and attention in that pieces of her mother & Lourdes dresses were both sewn into Cristina’s. Again, the values of the day came back down to relationship and real life. Even there.
Joe & Cristina, it was an absolute joy to spend New Years Eve with you both! Congratulations, and may ringing in the new year always have the brightness that it did on December 31st, 2017!
