April & Landon are some of the most kind people you’ll meet. They are centered on God, each other, and the people around them. Sounds like a recipe for an awesome Brookside Gardens wedding if you ask me, and that’s exactly what it was. This day HAD to have rain make an appearance, to throw one thing to keep us on our toes. The best part is, it ended up making many of the photos better with the gorgeous clouds it gave us at sunset. As a Colorado wedding photographer, you know that there is always a chance of an afternoon shower. Usually they are over by 4:30 and don’t interrupt a ceremony. This time though…the ceremony had just ended and we had just started family photos when the sky opened up. After we got people into a dry spot from the deluge, Brookside Gardens totally served us by allowing us to use the salon relaxation room to finish family portraits. While that’s a bit of a tight spot to work it, everyone was awesome…and like I said. The light for Bride and Groom portraits was stunning. I am SO glad that these people, who are so loving, got that beautiful gift at the end. Tell me if you agree after you see these photos-be sure to get to those portraits at the end. It’s worth it!
A few special notes…Both Landon & April’s families are very close. This wedding had so much love poured into for this couple! All of the intricate and amazing details (too many to post all here) were hand made for this day. Even the get away car was a show of the relationship between this family. The care behind everything made it extra special to photograph.
